UKIP to gain seven Scottish parliament seats, according to new poll
UKIP could be in line to gain its first seats in the Scottish Parliament, according to a new Survation poll for the Daily Record.
Asked about Holyrood voting intentions, six per cent of respondents said they would opt for the anti-Europe party in the regional list vote, the same as the Liberal Democrats and just behind the Scottish Greens on nine per cent.
The SNP maintain a clear lead in the poll, with 53 per cent in the constituency vote and 45 per cent in the list vote, and despite support for Labour’s plan to raise income tax, the party still lags behind on 22 per cent for constituency seats and 18 per cent on the list.

On Scottish Labour's tax plans, 42 per cent stated they at least somewhat supported the policy compared to 31 per cent who opposed it.
Survation interviewed 1,006 Scottish adults aged 16+ between 11th – 16th February 2016.
