Theresa May to 'engage positively' with Scottish Government, says Ruth Davidson

Theresa May is committed to a "close and constructive" working relationship with the Scottish Government, according to Scottish Conservative leader Ruth Davidson.
Davidson was at Downing Street today for David Cameron's final cabinet meeting before he makes way for May tomorrow, when the Home Secretary will become Prime Minister.
Scotland's role in forthcoming negotiations on the UK's exit from the European Union were raised.
“My talks with Theresa May focused on the need for strong and positive engagement between the UK and Scottish governments going forward," said Davidson afterwards.
“It is vital that the Scottish Government – along with all the devolved administrations – is fully involved in the EU negotiations ahead.
“Theresa made it clear that she is committed to a close and constructive relationship with the Scottish Government.
