Finalists for Holyrood Connect Digital Health and Care Awards revealed
The shortlist for Holyrood Connect’s fifth annual Digital Health and Care Awards has been unveiled, with less than a month to go until the event takes place at the InterContinental Edinburgh The George hotel.
The awards, which celebrate digital innovation across health and social care, are spread across seven categories including Data Driven Innovation and Innovative Mental Health Services.
The ceremony, which will take place on 22 February, will focus mainly on teams, aside from the Digital Leader Award, which is being contested by Debbie Crohn of the Scottish Government’s Covid vaccination programme and David McColl from NES Technology. They are up against a joint entry from Dr Brian Digby and Dr Alastair Bishop, both of whom are involved in the Hospital Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration System.
The categories were judged by a panel made up of NHS Scotland chief executive Caroline Lamb, Scottish Care chief executive Dr Donald Macaskill, TSA chief executive Alyson Scurfield and InterSystems head of sales Charles King.
