David Cameron has been ranked as the most effective Parliamentarian in a poll of MPs.
The Ipsos Mori poll of 101 MPs put Cameron top after he was picked by 27 MPs, with his successor Theresa May coming a close second, with the support of 25 MPs.
Thirteen Labour MPs chose Theresa May as the most effective Parliamentarian, and three SNP MPs chose David Cameron.
Meanwhile the poll shows that one Tory MP picked Nicola Sturgeon as the most impressive, with the FM – who is not an MP – also getting backing from three Labour MPs.
Only one MP picked Jeremy Corbyn, and that was a Conservative.
Angus Robertson came fourth overall, with backing from two Tory MPs, two Labour MPs and five SNP members.
Ben Page, chief executive, Ipsos MORI, said: “The latest results from our annual survey of MPs are frankly unprecedented. Never before has a party leader received such low ratings from fellow MPs, but it is not surprising given the difficulties Jeremy Corbyn has had with the PLP.”
The top five were David Cameron, Theresa May, Jacob Rees Mogg, Angus Robertson, Michael Gove, Hillary Benn, Boris Johnson, Alex Salmond and Frank Field.
