Barack Obama is to visit Scotland next month to address a business event in Edinburgh.
The former US president will speak to business leaders at a dinner in the EICC on 26 May.
Hosted by The Hunter Foundation, set up by businessman and philanthropist Sir Tom Hunter, all profits from the event will go to Scottish children’s charities.
The Hunter Foundation will run a competition for one secondary school to win a table at the dinner.
Hunter commented: “From the South Side of Chicago to the White House has been an epic, historic journey and it will be a true honour to hear that story from the man who made that journey.
“We are both truly proud and delighted to be hosting the 44th President of the United States in Scotland at this event.”
