The Prime Minister, Theresa May, has appointed her new cabinet.
Previous government ministers Michael Gove, Nicky Morgan, George Osborne, Oliver Letwin and John Whittingdale were not reappointed, while Theresa Villiers and Stephen Crabb have both resigned.
Jeremy Hunt, Michael Fallon, David Mundell and Alun Cairns have retained the same roles as they had under David Cameron.
The new cabinet has a mixture of MPs who campaigned to leave or remain in the EU.
However, it is noticeable that top roles in departments that are set to be particularly affected by Brexit – foreign affairs, environment, international trade, international development, as well as the new department for exiting the EU – have all been given to MPs who campaigned to leave.
